If you haven’t already noticed, some friends of ours have been putting out free artwork on the first Friday of every month. The social media fueled scavenger hunt has been picking up steam with the help of such free art enthusiasts as <;a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Catlanta/141895532537511" target="_blank">;Catlanta<;/a>;, <;a href="http://evereman.com/" target="_blank">;Evereman<;/a>;, FAFATL founder <;a href="http://kenntwofour.com/" target="_blank">;KennTwoFour<;/a>;, and others. The key to FAF is that you not only hunt down free art, but you participate by making art your self and give it away. Here is the basic info according to the <;a href="http://kenntwofour.com/blarg/fafatl/" target="_blank">;FAFATL site<;/a>;:
1. Make art.
2. The art should be weatherproof. It’s going to be outside.
3. No web address on the front of the pieces. Don’t be tacky.
4. Hang your art around town for people to find.
5. Post a photo and clues to the location of the art on <;del>;Facebook<;/del>; and Twitter. <;em>;(Now just on Twitter)<;/em>;
