We’re thrilled to present new work from Richard Arnold and Craig Cameron.
Arnold and Cameron have created an interactive exhibition about artist statements, their purpose, meaning and worth. An artist statement has a role within this process, but its role is as varied as the artists that write them and sometimes its role isn’t quite clear. Sometimes it compliments the art, sometimes it misses the target, overcompensates, underwhelms or drags along the art kicking and screaming. Take part in the exhibition, bring meaning to the works of art utilizing statements of the the artists’ and other artists from Atlanta and around the nation. Place a statement with other statements, or with a work that does not have one. Create a description, create a statement thereby helping to shape the meaning of the pieces individually, and the show as in its’ entirety.
