We are reaching an end to our $10,000 Challenge Grant from Possible Futures and The Goat Farm Arts Center. Both organizations were instrumental in the success of the inaugural year of the Leap Year program. This year’s grant was awarded to ensure the continued success of the program.

Leap Year is a year long, emerging artists mentorship that provides support for three emerging artists each year. Selected artists have the opportunity to participate in a program of development with resources from numerous organizations and individuals active in Georgia. Leap Year provides space and support for emerging artists to be more thoughtful about their work and creative careers, to foster partnerships and community between various arts organizations, to create a more sustainable arts economy, and to nurture a generous artistic spirit within Atlanta.

Possible Futures will match up to $10,000 in funds donated by MINT supporters, and The Goat Farm Arts Center will make an in kind match of studio space valued at $10,000.

Executive Director, Erica Jamison says, “We are humbled and honored by the support shown by Possible Futures and The Goat Farm. Without these two organizations, Leap Year would not exist. Their pledge is a testament to the necessity and strength of the program.”
