Since beginning in September, the artists have moved into their studios at the Goat Farm Arts Center, been paired with their mentors, toured a private art collection, collaborated with GSU’s <;a title="Peripheral Visions lab" href="http://peripheralvisions.org/">;Peripheral Visions Lab<;/a>; to create video pieces, and begun coordinating their community service project with <;a title="WonderRoot" href="http://www.wonderroot.org/">;WonderRoot<;/a>;.
Next Wednesday (Leap Day, of course) we’re hosting a fundraising event to support the program and share the artist’s progress with the public. The event will be in the Rodriguez Room at The Goat Farm Arts Center and will have food prepared by local chef David Sturgis along with entertainment from <;a title="Bosco" href="http://www.myspace.com/brittanybosco">;Bosco<;/a>;. Tickets are $40 per person and reservations can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 404.946.8982. We hope to see you there!
