Over the past 18 years MINT’s dynamic programming, exhibitions, community partnerships and outreach have served artists and art enthusiasts alike. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, staff, board members, and the arts community, MINT continues to deliver the freshest art experiences in Atlanta.

Some fast facts about what makes MINT so MINT:

• Since our founding, MINT has showcased the work of over 2,000 contemporary and experimental artists

• MINT pays all artists for their participation in exhibitions, talks, and performances, regardless if their work sells. This is not the norm for for-profit or non-profit galleries, but we value the time and effort of all artists and demonstrate this through fair compensation.

• MINT manages 18 artist studios which we provide at below-market rental rates. 

• MINT produces exhibitions in our four gallery spaces which we also make available for student shows and rentals.

We are committed to keeping our programs low-cost in order to support emerging artists and patrons, but MINT operates in Georgia, a state that currently ranks last in the nation for per capita arts funding. That means there are significantly less dollars available to us as a nonprofit organization. 

Only with support from our community can we create the exhibitions, open studios, events and programming we have planned for 2024.
